The Mayor’s Forum featured a conversation with Ed Riley and Jonathan Alston. They spoke about politics and the cost of real activism. Ras revealed stories about his childhood in the movement.
In the 7pm hour Asia Norton interviewed Rhodes Scholar Jordan Thomas and Street Doctor. They spoke about the store owner who beat a well known disabled man. Then Asia continued on a one on one interview where Jordan spoke about his time at University High School as a student board member and as a student activist in the tumultuous last years of Newark Superintendent Cami Anderson.
